Liverpool manager Arne Slot has sent a strong message ahead of his side’s trip to the Emirates, branding Arsenal as the Premier League’s most complete team this season.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference before Thursday’s round-21 fixture, Slot struggled to identify any glaring weakness in Mikel Arteta’s side.

“Their biggest strength? That’s an interesting question,” Slot said. “Perhaps their biggest strength lies in the fact that they have many strengths.”

He went on to list Arsenal’s defensive solidity, attacking versatility, and tactical flexibility as reasons they deserve their league position.

“They rarely concede goals, they can score from open play and set pieces, build from the back, or go long. They are a very complete team,” he said.

Liverpool arrives unbeaten in nine league matches, but recent draws have drawn criticism from supporters, who argue the team lacks attacking spark.

Slot admitted the criticism hurts, even if he partially understands it.

“I find it really hard to hear those words,” he said. “But I don’t completely disagree.”

Statistics show Liverpool have created 53 big chances this season, scoring 32 goals, numbers that trail Arsenal and Manchester City.

“We are struggling to create a lot of chances,” Slot conceded, though he argued the issue is not unique to his side.

Liverpool sit fourth, 14 points off the top, and face Arsenal without a fully fit squad. Leading scorer Hugo Ekitike remains a doubt due to a hamstring injury.

Despite mounting pressure, Slot insists his vision remains clear.

“I want us to win games and play attractive football,” he said. “We are working every day to improve.”
