Popular Nigerian comedian Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ejekwu, better known as Sabinus, has shared a painful relationship experience, admitting regret over extravagant gestures made in the name of love.

During a recent livestream with TikToker Sandra Benede, Sabinus described love as “cruel,” saying he strongly relates to TikTok star Peller’s emotional struggles following his breakup with Jarvis.

The comedian explained that he had once been in Peller’s position, referencing the influencer’s public emotional outbursts and involvement in a car accident after heartbreak.

Recalling his ordeal, Sabinus revealed that he once gifted a lady a Range Rover out of love, only for her to later walk away.

According to him, the experience left him deeply regretful.

He urged Nigerians to show empathy towards Peller, warning that love can push people into painful decisions.

“Jarvis has finished Peller… Love is cruel. I once gifted a girl a Range Rover because of love. She later left me. I regretted it,” he said.

Recall that Sabinus confirmed the end of his marriage to his wife and the mother of his child, Ciana Chapman, during a TikTok livestream in December 2025.

The couple, who married privately in 2023, were together for just over a year before parting ways.
