The Commissioner for Industry in Anambra State, Hon. Christian Udechukwu, has lauded the Governor, Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo, for the massive transformation of the state, and insisted that he must be re-elected to continue his good works in the state.
He disclosed they had a solution-oriented government, adding that the Governor remained focused, intentional, deliberate, and purposeful in everything he started to do.
While addressing Newsmen on Saturday, September 27, at the Nnewi North secretariat during the inauguration of Nnewi North re-election Campaign Council, he said they would surely deliver Prof. Charles Soludo for a second tenure on November 8.
“On the strength of performance and achievements of Mr Governor in education, health, infrastructure, social reengineering, industrialization agenda, and economic reforms, the people are so appreciative.
“The outcome of their appreciation was seen in the just-concluded primary election, where Sen. Emma Nwachukwu (Onodugo), APGA candidate, emerged victorious. We know that the same fate will be repeated for Mr Governor. We are looking at a landslide election victory,” he noted.
Udechukwu said Governor Soludo’s administration has done so much for Ndi Anambra, revealing that it was the first government to give free education from kindergarten to senior Secondary schools.
“No Anambra child will say he could not attend school because his parents couldn’t afford school fees. Today, any child born in Anambra has his future clearly planned out by this government” he added.
He further disclosed that the Governor also extended the scholarship to students who finished their secondary with good grades, they would enjoy Federal Government funding for four years in the university, with bursaries to ease whatever they would face.
He revealed that in all public hospitals, delivery is free. He queried voters if they would vote against their future having seen how Soludo’s Government has secured the future of their children.
“APGA is the future of Anambra now. The state has the highest and toughest security law in the Federal Republic of Nigeria. We have a security structure that involves everyone. All in the community are Stakeholders. We have a volunteer security service, Agunaechemba.
“We have the national security services, police, army, navy, air force, civil defense, and DSS. In Anambra, there’s no hiding place. If any community harbors criminals in the forest, that forest automatically becomes state government property.
“If you knowingly harbor them in your home, that house becomes State government property. That’s why we say, If you see something, say something,” he warned.
Udechukwu said APGA remained confident in winning the November 8 gubernatorial election. He noted they have a solution, stating that the party had Mr President’s backup because, according to him, the Progressives are working together.
