Samuel Ohaezu, a male resident of Ota, Ogun State, is currently wanted by the Nigerian Police Force in connection with allegations of same-sex activity, an offense under the Same-Sex Marriage (Prohibition) Act, 2014.

According to community reports, Samuel Ohaezu developed a close relationship with another young man in 2023. In early 2024, a neighbour allegedly observed them together in circumstances considered suspicious, leading to rumours and accusations of homosexuality within the community.

Despite multiple invitations issued to his last known address for questioning, the individual has failed to present himself to the authorities. Local religious leaders and residents have continued to petition the police to act on these allegations.

The suspect is reported to have been moving between different residences to avoid detection, following threats of mob action and possible arrest. Associates and acquaintances have also warned against offering him shelter, citing fears of reprisal.
