As Muslims mark yet another Maulud of the prophet Muhammad (SAW), the Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Jibril Ismail Falgore has conveyed his felicitations to all Muslim ummah.
In a Press statement signed and issued to newsmen by chief Press Secretary kamaluddeen Sani Shawai on Friday. Rt Hon Jibril Ismail Falgore stated that the Kano State Legislative arm, shares in joy of the Muslim ummah and wishes all faithful individuals, particularly in Kano and beyond, a happy Eid- Maulud Celebration.
Eid – Maulud is a session of love and reflection of our good teachings as well as remembrance of the seal of all prophets. I urge all Muslim to tolerate one another regardless of one’s religion and help the needy.
Falgore further expressed that let us make this session great and memorable by following strictly adherence to our noble prophet in alignments with his teachings and the Holy Quran.
According to Falgore, Kano State House of Assembly is up and doing towards enacting relevant legislation aimed at improving the standards of Islamic institutions such as Hisba, Zakka commission,Shura among others, emphasizing that their unwavering commitment to good legislation is evident.
