The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Barrister Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, paid a heartfelt condolence visit to the family of the late Mrs. Grace Adayilo, Head of Service, FCTA, who passed away on September 1, 2025. The Minister expressed shock and sadness at her untimely demise, praising her dedication, commitment, and invaluable contributions to the FCT Administration, according to a press release from Rabi Musa Umar the Assistant Director Press Office of the Minister on Thursday.
Barister Wike described Mrs. Adayilo as a “true Christian and a woman you can rely on,” highlighting her exceptional work ethic and trustworthiness. He revealed that he had personally requested an extension of her tenure from the President, demonstrating her importance to the FCT Administration.
The Minister offered words of comfort to the grieving family, acknowledging the unpredictable nature of life and death. He pledged the FCT Administration’s continued support, including covering all burial expenses and offering immediate employment to her children, if needed. “We’ll take care of everything; you don’t have to worry about a thing,” he assured.
The family expressed profound gratitude for the Minister’s visit and support, praising his exceptional leadership and developmental programs in the FCT. Bishop Jonathan, speaking on behalf of the family, described Mrs. Adayilo as “a true mother and philanthropist” who left a lasting impact on the community. He thanked the Minister for his kindness, saying, “Thank you, Honourable Minister, for coming to our home… God Almighty bless you.”
