The Imo State Commander of the Nigeria Hunters and Forest Security Service, (NHFSS) Dr. Fabian Iwuoha has challenged officers of the command to rededicate themselves to selfless endeavours, loyalty and offer quality service delivery, so as to achieve excellent results in their respective assignments.
Dr. Iwuoha made this remarks while addressing officers of the command at the zonal meeting, held in Enugu.
The commander stressed that what they have at hand is enormous and left with no option than to work assiduously to make the forest save for farmers and residents, while combanting criminals frontally.
He commended them for the brilliant performance in Enugu and urged sustainability for the overall development of the NHFSS and the society.
He said, “The citizenry and the authorities have started to believe and trust in our services, we must maintain the momentum and leverage on same”.
Dr. Iwuoha revealed that the the event was a monumental success as the command came tops in presentation, achievements discipline and composure.
According to him, the highpoint of the ceremony was the presentation of national patronship award to the chairman of Oru West local government area, Hon. Adikibe Ikenna, who also doubles as the ALGON chairman in the state.
The council chairman of Isiala Mbano, Hon. Chika Okoroike was also bestowed with the state patronship award, Hon. Paul Duru , chairman of Nwangele council area, collected state patronship award respectively.
Speaking, the chairman of Oru West council area and ALGON chairman in the state, Hon.Adikibe , commended the Imo State commander, Dr. Iwuoha for dedication to duty, result oriented approach and the acumen and dexterity in piloting the affairs of the command.
He promised the support of the governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma in assisting the command to function effectively and strengthen the security architecture of the state.
