Board completes airlifting of pilgrims back home in Niger

Niger State Pilgrims Welfare Board on Sunday 29th, June, 2025 concludes airlifts of its Pilgrims from Kingdom of Saudi Arabia back home.

The final batch of the Pilgrims from the State, which is the Seventh batch where airlifted in a combined flight with Kaduna State Pilgrims would be conveyed to the Jeddah Airport by 2:pm Saudi time on Sunday, 29th, June, 2025 and depart to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Airport, around 10:pm in the night Saudi time on Sunday 29th, June, 2025.

The Seventh batch of the State Pilgrims having 134 pilgrims consists of the 2025 Amirul Hajj of the State, the Executive Secretary of Niger State Pilgrims Welfare Board, officials of the Board, the Board Members and other pilgrims.

Meanwhile, with the final batch of the pilgrims set to be airlifted on Sunday, the Board has recorded a timely, successful and seamless 2025 Hajj Exercise with 100 percent airlift of the Pilgrims without any casualties and loss of lives.

The Board under the leadership of the Executive Secretary, Sheikh Muhammad Awwal Aliyu, uses this medium to commend the Executive Governor of the State, Muhammad Umaru Bago for his commitment and continues support to the board throughout the exercise and for standing firm to see that the board achieves seamless 2025 Hajj Exercise.

He also uses the same medium to thank the 2025 Amirul Hajj and the Emir of Kagara, Mal. Ahmed Garba Gunna (Attahiru 11) for his enthusiasm and dedication towards the success of the overall exercise.

Sheikh Muhammad Awwal Aliyu, also appreciated the Chairman of the Board, the Board Members, Management and Staff of the Board for the team work and their commitment to the success of the 2025 Hajj Exercise.
