The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Tuesday, 24th June, 2025 engaged in a productive meeting with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) at its headquarters.
The meeting, which was described as thorough and fruitful, aimed to discuss key issues related to the electoral process.
According to Umar Damagum, the Acting National Chairman of the PDP, the interactive session with INEC was dynamic and pragmatic. “Politics is dynamic and pragmatic, so we will go back and meet our largest stakeholders and disseminate all the discussions that have taken place today,” Damagum said in a brief interview with journalists.
The PDP’s meeting with INEC is a significant step towards ensuring the party’s preparedness for upcoming elections.

The PDP meetings with INEC were attended by Former Senate president, Saraki, Governor Makinde, Governor Dauda of Zamfara state, Governor Bala Muhammed, Senator Abba Moro, Siriake Dickson, amongst prominent PDP stakeholders during the brief meeting with INEC.
