The management of Niger Tornadoes FC, led by Chairman Engr. Ibrahim Dada had an interface with the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development to present the club’s end-of-season report.
The team was received by the Permanent Secretary, Dr. Nuhu Garba Ngaski alongside some top officials of the ministry.
During the meeting, the club’s management team briefed the ministry on the club’s activities and achievements during the last football season and presented a comprehensive report for documentation.
Dr. Ngaski commended the management for a job well done, assuring them of the ministry’s continued support.
He also revealed that the state government would soon resume work at the Bako Kontagora Stadium Minna, with plans underway to give the stadium a facelift to meet the required standards for hosting league matches.
This development would enable Niger Tornadoes FC to play their home matches in Minna next season, a move that would likely boost team morale and fan engagement.
The permanent secretary charged the management to assemble a formidable team that would eschew indiscipline and represent the state creditably.
He emphasized the importance of discipline and good conduct, both on and off the field, in upholding the reputation of Niger State.
The meeting aimed to keep the ministry informed about the club’s progress and challenges, promoting transparency and collaboration.
The club’s management team appreciated the ministry’s support and looked forward to continued partnership for the progress of the club.
Niger Tornadoes are scheduled to resume preparation for next season on July 6th, according to reports from the media team of the club lead by Alhassan Mohammed Kutugi.
