The Chairman of Ado Central Local Council Development Area, Engr. Toyin Ojo has on Friday signed a landmark agreement with Metro Shelter Realty Limited to transform the Tosin Aluko Motor Park into a thriving economic hub.
The signing ceremony, held at the council secretariat in Ado, marks a significant milestone in the council’s efforts to enhance the aesthetic value of the capital and boost internally generated revenue through strategic real estate investments.
Engr. Ojo expressed his profound gratitude to Governor Biodun Oyebanji for his visionary leadership in approving the revitalization of the park, which had unfortunately become a hotspot for criminal activities. He emphasized that the strategic partnership with MSRL would unlock the area’s vast economic potential and create opportunities for residents of all social strata.
The Director-General of Ekiti State Development and Investment Promotion Agency, Mrs. Lolade Olutola, reiterated the state government’s commitment to supporting grassroots development and bringing dividends of democracy to the people.
The Chairman of Metro Shelter Realty Limited, Dr. Bekky Olubukola, commended the Ekiti State Government for creating a conducive environment that fosters investment and economic growth. She assured that the company would work closely with the government to implement the agreement and support its innovative programs.
According to Dr.Olubukola ,the proposed development will feature a shopping mall, cinema, outdoor game center, and other modern amenities, including a well-maintained road network and 24-hour electricity supply.
The signing ceremony was attended by other political office holders and management staff of the LCDA, who later visited the proposed site to inspect existing facilities.
