The Kano State Office of the Auditor General has received the 2024 Annual Financial Statement Report from the Office of the State Accountant General.
A statement signed by Bashir Habib Yahaya, on behalf of the Acting Auditor General, stated that the report was presented by the Director of Final Accounts, Malam Rabiu Abdullahi, who appreciated the professionalism displayed by the audit staff.
The Acting Auditor General, Malam Rabiu Yusuf, commended the Final Accounts Department for the timely submission and assured that the audit would be completed promptly to meet international standards.
He added that his years of experience in reviewing annual financial reports under previous audit leaders had equipped him with the expertise needed to handle the task effectively.
He expressed his office’s readiness to work harmoniously with the Accountant General’s Office for the benefit of Kano State.
The exchange highlights the collaboration between the two offices, with both parties emphasizing the importance of synergy in achieving positive outcomes, the statement added.
