The Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Jibril Ismail Falgore, on behalf of the Distinguished Honourable Members, extends heartfelt felicitations to workers on the occasion of this year’s Workers’ Day celebration.
This message was conveyed in a statement issued by his spokesperson, Kamaluddeen Sani Shawai, on Thursday. Falgore described Assembly workers as the most vital drivers of positive change within the legislative arm.
He emphasized that the contributions of employees to the development of the Assembly and, indeed, Kano State and Nigeria over the years have been both impressive and commendable. Falgore stated,
“I salute all workers in Kano and pledge that the legislative arm will continue to strive to bring good tidings, especially through bills related to Kano employees, by ensuring that workers’ welfare and well-being are prioritized through quality legislation.
“We will also ensure that the Kano State House of Assembly fosters positive and worker-friendly legislation, enabling employees to better contribute their quotas to the development of Kano State.”
“I, therefore, extend my greetings to all workers and wish you all a happy 2025 Workers’ Day,” Falgore concluded.
