Valentine Osinachi Ndukwu Goes Into Hiding Over His Involvement In Homosexuality

March 20 every year always come fresh in the memory of the family of one Mr. Valentine Osinachi Ndukwu from Umuogba Ntu Okpala in Ngor Okpala local government area of Imo state, now at large over his involvement in homosexual activities.

As this year 20th March is fast approaching, the family of Mr. Valentine is already contemplating what will be their fate this time as a result of their community’s youth consistent threat to their lives over the sin their son committed eleven (11) years ago
Every 20th March, the youth of the community led by Anthony Nwanna and Thomas Obiefule usually stormed his family home demanding for his head.

For instance, last year 20th March 2024, the youth raided his house with the aim of fishing him out to face the wrath of the law over the heinous act that leads to the death of his partner Mr. Stanley Okere.

According to a family source, Mr. Valentine has gone into hiding since he escaped lynching on the 20th day of March, 2014 and his whereabouts is unknown to us.

The family has been banned, ostracized and restricted from public functions. We no longer participate in community activity as a result of this problem according to a family source.

Mr. Valentine Osinachi Ndukwu is a notorious gay from his secondary school days.

In several occasions he Mr. Valentine and Stanley were caught in the acts of homosexuality and beating mercilessly by the vigilante groups and the youth of his community, still they continue to practice and indulged in gay activities but fate ran out of them on March 20, 2014, when they were caught recoiling in an uncompleted building by the youth of the community.

The Community people and the youth swooped on the duo, tortured them and in the process Mr. Stanley Okere died instantly at the scene of the incident while Mr. Valentine escaped and reported the matter to the police.

After much investigation, it was discovered that Mr. Valentine and Stanley are gays and the police set free Anthony Nwanna and Thomas Obiefule whom Mr Valentine accused of being responsible for the death of his partner.

He Mr. Valentine Osinachi Ndukwu was declared wanted by the police.
Stanley’s family members are in agony since then calling for Mr. Valentine to be brought to book. Their wish is to see him dead just like their son.

Nigeria is a conservative and religious country, where homosexuality is widely considered a taboo and morally reprehensible.

The act of same sex relationship is regarded as sacrilege in all villages in Nigeria including Imo state. The degree of penalty differs from one community to another but has dire consequences.

Umuogba Ntu Okpala community in Ngor Okpala frowns against that and stipulates stringent punishment on persons found wanting. It imposes punishment ranging from heavy fines in cattle to appease the gods of the land to denial of right to inheritance and right to partake of some community benefits, ostracization, being stripped of a person’s titles and labelled an outcast.

Nigeria same-sex marriage (prohibition) act (SSMPA) prohibits public display of affection between same-sex individuals and restricts the work of organizations defending gay people and their rights.

Mr. Valentine has disappeared into thin air to escape prosecution and was declared wanted by the police.
He is said to have also been banished from his community as a result of his involvement in this heinous act.
According to the Eze (King) Ndigbo of Umuogba Ntu Okpala COMMUNITY, Mr. Valentine Osinachi Ndukwu is hereby banished, ostracized and in essence, his dignity of Umuogba Ntu Okpala has been revoked, his right, inheritance and any other benefits accruing to him as a son of this community is hereby revoked, stripes and terminated permanently.

But the question is how will our land be cleansed in the absence of Valentine? The gods required his presence for the internal cleansing to be carried out that’s why the youth and the vigilante group has been mandated to fish him out irrespective of the cost and the time frame. We will continue to issue threats to the family from time to time until he is produced.

The policemen on their part have been on red alert for years searching for him.
He has been targeted severally by the security agencies for his active involvement in homosexuality.

According to the police, Mr. Valentine Osinachi Ndukwu , is fair in complexion, he is from Umuogba Ntu Okpala in Ngor Okpala local Government area of Imo state, in Nigeria. He speaks English and Igbo fluently and He was last seen on March 2014 around Douglas axis in Owerri.

Anybody with useful information that will leads to his arrest should report to the nearest police station or the Force Headquarters, Abuja.
