The Nigerian police Force, Abia state is still in search of one Mr. Achumie Samuel Ifeanyi over his alleged involvement in the activities of the proscribed Indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB).
Mr. Achumie was arrested with other members of the group at a drinking joint at Iyalu Ibere axis in Ikwuano on the 5th day of April, 2021 as they were preparing for a planned protest over continuous arrest of their members but on the 29th day of May, 2021 the said Mr Achumie Samuel Ifeanyi escaped when the proscribed Indigenous people of Biafra attacked state criminal investigation department (SCID) Umuahia.
He was first declared wanted by the Abia state commissioner of police on the 3rd day of June, 2021,
Since then his whereabouts are unknown.
Initially, it was reported that Achumie Samuel Ifeanyi escaped to the northern part of Nigeria for fear of being rearrested by the police but all efforts made by the police to trace him are not yielding positive results.
According to the police, Mr. Achumie is dark in complexion, he is from Iyalu Ibere in Ikwuano local Government area of Abia state, in Nigeria. He speaks English and Igbo fluently and He was last seen in May 2021 in Umuahia.
Anybody with useful information about his whereabouts that will leads to his arrest should report to the nearest police station or the Force Headquarters, Abuja.
