Police Declare Witness in High-Profile Murder Case Missing

The Nigerian Police Force, Edo State Command, has appealed to the public for assistance in locating one, Imaraiyiosa Ailele Kelvin, a 33-year-old man who has gone missing under concerning circumstances.
Kelvin, who is a key witness in a significant murder investigation, was last seen in the Gwagwalada area of Abuja on May 5, 2024.
Described as 5’8″ tall, with black hair and brown eyes, Kelvin’s disappearance has raised alarm within the community and the police, given his crucial role in an ongoing high-profile murder case.
Sources say that on March 29, 2024, Mr. Romeo Otabor was brutally murdered by a three-man gang at his betting store at 2nd East Circular Road, Benin City.
Kelvin who saw it all, is wanted as his testimony is vital to the investigation, but his sudden disappearance is a significant setback for the authorities.
The police say they are also particularly concerned that Kelvin’s life may be in danger due to his involvement in the case.
The Police said, “We are doing everything in our power to find Mr. Kelvin and ensure his safety,” said a spokesperson for the Edo State Police Command. “His testimony is critical, and we are deeply concerned for his well-being.”
Meanwhile Friends and family of Kelvin are already distraught, and pleading with the public to help bring him home safely. “We just want to know he’s okay,” said a family member. If anyone has seen him or knows anything, please contact the nearest police station.
